Museum Socials:
Fri 24 Jan, National Museum of Scotland
Museum Socials are monthly events for anyone affected by dementia and their relatives, friends and supporters. This month join curator Dorothy Kidd to explore social history treasures such as photographs, newspapers, postcards and letters from the Scottish Life Archive.
Individuals attending socials with their family member or carer do not need to book in advance.

Local hero:
A new year and a new addition to the farm – meet the youngest member of the National Museum of Rural Life family. His name is Loachan which means ‘Little Hero’ and he made a surprise arrival at the end of November. He is a cross between a Highland and Aberdeen Angus.
