The last festival of the year takes place in November. This free film and photography festival includes a range of presentations and workshops that will help you further appreciate the beauty of the Elan Valley.
The fun begins on Friday 8th with the Dark Sky Photography Skills presentation.
Then on Saturday 9th we’ll be hosting a Beginners’ Camera Workshop, Mobile Phone Filming and Photography session and a Historical Film Evening.
We conclude the Elan Eye festival on Sunday 10th with an Animation Day, where our skilled hosts will help you learn how to create your own short animations.

The first in a series of 5 sessions learning how to identify mosses, liverworts, ferns and lichens. No prior experience required. Courses are free and hot drinks and cake are provided.

Meeting at Caban Coch car park, Clive’s 7.5 mile energetic walk will take you round Caban Coch passing Nant y Gro and a Welsh longhouse on a mix of well walked paths through forestry and open hillside, with good views of the reservoir.
