This year’s trials focus on blue sweet peas and we are hoping to strengthen our existing blue varieties with more tenacious blue blooms.
We have moved our sweet peas and are experimenting with new growing techniques to create drums of colour and you can discover heritage, modern, scented, striped, flaked and bicolour sweet peas.
Herbaceous displays fill the 80m long borders and velvet border. Throughout the garden, roses are in flower and meadows provide an exuberant display attracting a variety of insects, mammals and birds among the grasses and wildflowers.
It really is a truly beautiful experience so get the date in your diary and plan your visit.
