Leonardo da Vinci: A Life in Drawing
Open now until 6 May
Bristol Museum & Art Gallery
To mark the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death, we are displaying twelve of his finest drawings as part of #Leonardo500 – a national celebration of one of history’s greatest geniuses.
From landmark anatomical studies to whimsical pages, the drawings reveal his qualities as a dreamer, note-taker, designer and above all, an insatiably curious observer of the world around him. Sponsored by Clifton High School, RSG and Smith & Williamson.
