It can sometimes be tricky to convey the sheer rigour and skill involved in bringing a historic building back from the brink of ruin. This two-part series presented by Dr Anna Keay illuminates many aspects of our long journey to save Llwyn Celyn, including some of the highs and lows and the key people who made it possible.
Filmed closely for over two years, it showcases visits by Landmark’s Patron HRH The Prince of Wales, the astounding discovery of the building’s construction date and historical investigation to identify the farmhouse’s past inhabitants. The More4 series highlights many specialist craft skills and follows John Evetts as he hunts for furniture and puts his mind to interior decoration.
We expect and hope viewers will go on to book holidays at Llwyn Celyn to experience its striking transformation. Bookings are open now and there is plenty of availability until the end of 2020.
