Hidcote Manor Garden, Gloucestershire

Hidcote House by Barbara Ballard Garden folly by Barbara Ballard Hidcote Manor garden is a 20th century garden created by Lawrence Johnston. It is in the Arts and Crafts style with garden rooms. Herbaceous borders and rare trees and shrubs are part of the picture. A garden folly adds to the charm.

These include a courtyard garden, old garden, white garden, maple garden, red border, alpine terrace, winter border, fuchsia garden, bathing pool garden, poppy garden, upper stream garden, hydrangea corner, central stream garden, lower stream garden, bulb slope, rock bank, theatre lawn, pine garden, lilypool, rose walks, kitchen garden, and beech alley. There is also a tennis court.

April skunk cabbage, foxglove tree, magnolias
May: tulips, handkerchief tree, wisteria, giant alliums, lilacs
