Kensington Court apartments are ideally located for visiting a number of attractions. Within five minutes walking distance are Kensington Palace and gardens; within 15 minutes are Linley Samborne House and Leighton House. A bit farther but still an easy walk is the museum district where the Victoria and Albert, Natural History, and Science museums are found.

The apartments face onto a quiet treed square, and, although half a block from the hustle and bustle of Kensington’s busy main street, the noise doesn’t penetrate the apartment building, part of a row of Victorian townhouses. Book an apartment on the front of the building for a view.
Each of the 11 serviced (except on Sundays and holidays) apartments and its interior design and colours are configured differently. Be specific regarding your needs in order to get the best fit: choices are studio, one bedroom, and two bedrooms.
Depending on the apartment size, food preparation provisions range from a tiny kitchenette to a fully equipped galley kitchen with oven and dishwasher. There’s a lot to be said for the convenience of being able to prepare your own breakfast or a lunchtime or late night snack, the least of which is savings in the pocketbook. With a Marks and Spencer food floor five minutes down the High street, it’s easy to stock the mini-fridge. Also nearby are a number of other take-out stops including the Pret chain, with its supply of freshly made organic sandwiches and soups.
On the top floor, reached only by stairs, is a washing machine and dryer, free of charge for your use. All the apartments have free Sky TV with access to dozens of channels. Minimum bathroom toiletries and first morning coffee and sugar are provided.
Kensington High street tube is a short walk from the apartments and provides excellent connections to many of London’s attractions.
The apartments, in 2004, are undergoing further upgrading to what has already been finished. For instance, all of the two bedroom ones will have their own washer and dryer.
The apartment staff are extremely helpful and very pleasant and go out of their way to satisfy your wishes.

Insider Tip: The downside to the apartments is a small, noisy elevator and worn carpeting. There is also no computer for email and internet access.
